HINAGIRL cannot be contained to one genre. as a result of being raised by her mother – who possessed a great love for varying styles of music – HINAGIRL developed two things: perfect pitch, and a love for music which transcended any obstacle. she wrote her first song when she was 11, and she would later teach herself how to produce music by age 15. HINAGIRL's lyrical style is often equated to a combination of musical spoken word, and her sound is original, yet familiar. she has accepted invitations to perform live for various events in her college community, such as the annual Pacific Green Fashion Show and ASUOP's recurring Brickyard Series; she also sings at Sunday mass every week in her hometown of portland, oregon.
